Plant-based Cheese Dublin - a day in the life

Hey che*se lovers. AP here. Thought it would be a good idea to give you a little taster of a day in the life of a plant-based che*se producer when I don't have my fetching hair net on!

Every few weeks I am released from blending cashew nuts and I head down to Dublin to make sure the dairy free cheese Dublin game is strong!

It's an early start in the cheesy van - the tunes are playing and I settle in for a few hours of driving until the first stop...

Clarke & Hoban @ Glasnevin Food Market

The market is open on Saturday's only but Adam is on hand to take receipt of his order - a mixture of plant-based che*se. Catch them from 8.30am on Saturday mornings, pick up your fresh produce, grab a coffee and just soak up the amazing atmosphere (p.s. we do market pop-ups here so check our socials for details)

Then it's just around the corner to Noms, Phibsborough for a restock.

A treasure cave of amazing local produce that needs to be seen to be believed with dairy free and plant-based options.

Next stop is Stoneybatter and Lilliput Stores

Another gem of a place and so close to Dublin city centre. Lots of great vegan options here.

Crossing the Liffey for a stop at The Fumbally Cafe in The Liberties

We did a pop-up here a while ago and, the lunch sandwiches were unreal - definitely worth a stop if you are in the area (and also well worth travelling to even if you aren't close by). The folks are amazing and will look after you so well.

Next up is a stop in Dundrum Town Centre delivering some wheels of che*se to PYE.

This is an awesome bar in Dundrum who are now using our dairy-free cheeses on their menu - definitely worth a visit after work (or instead of it!)

Finally, I make the trip out to Greystones for a drop of plant-based cheesy wedges at The Happy Pear.

This place really needs no introduction - grab some lunch, restock your fridge and pantry, have a sea swim - the choice is yours!

Not on the list today but Cult! is also available in

Nuts & Grains, Mullingar

Rustic Boowa, Tralee

Kate's Kitchen, Sligo

PAX Whole Foods & Eco Goods, Westport.

All amazing shops and wonderful supporters of the cheesy revolution!
